Departed Jersey 15:30.

Monday 28th July 2008 (Day 5)
Arrived Camaret Sur Mer 18:30. Weather extremely dodgy for crossing the bay, but hope things will improve by weekend. Will check for forecast and my leave sooner - keep you all posted

If weather allows, we intend to start our crossiing of the Bay of Biscay today.

Tuesday 5th August (Day 13)
Arrived A Coruña. PLAN ALTERATION: We will not now be going to the Azores

Thursday 7th August ( Day 15)
Arrived Vigo. Awaiting new crew member.

Saturday 9th August (Day 17)
Georgina joins us for the leg to Gibraltar.

Monday 11th August (Day 19)
Attempted to leave Vigo at 10.00 today, but had to turn round due to poor weather. Arrived back at Vigo 16.30 and will probably be holed up for a couple of days. Pod of dolphins joined us for half an hour though!

Wednesday 13th August (Day 21)
Departed Vigo. Arrived Porto at 20.00.

Thursday 14th August (Day 22)
Departed Porto. Arrived Figuera de Foz at 20.30. Weather sunny but cold. Only one dolphin today in passing.

Friday 15th August (Day 23)
Departed Figuera de Foz. Arrived Nazare at 19.00. Excellent weather today, but not much wind. Sailed through big flock of gannets feeding. At same time, joined by a dozen dolphins, who played around the boat for about 2 hours.

Saturday 16th August. Weather not good, but spent day in Nazare. Eventually joined by Christophe and Catherine in an evening downpour.

Sunday 17th August (Day 25)
Arrived Cascais 20.15. A long, hot sail, joined often by small groups of dolphins. Very little wind, so most of leg was under power.

Monday 18th August (Day 26)
Moved down the coast to Oeiras, as we were unable to stay in Cascais.

Tuesday 19th August (Day 27)
Arrived Sines at 18.00. Very good weather. One or two dolphins spotted plus a turtle!

Wednesday 20th August (Day 28)
Arrived Lagos at 20.00. Good days sailing.

Thursday 21st August (Day 29)
Stayed in Lagos for the day. Heading for Faro tomorrow for crew change.

Friday 22nd August (Day 30)
Christophe and Catherine head home first thing. Little Moo sets for leisurely sail to Faro, with a short stop at pretty cove en route. Arrive at Faro 6.30pm. Georgina heads back to London at 7.45pm.

Saturday 23rd August (Day 31)
Roy and Brian set sail for Chipiona in the evening.  Arrive late eve, due to bilge problem.  However, no room at the inn, so had to leave early next morning.

Sunday 24th August (Day 32)
Sail to Barbate on the Cabo do Trafalgar.  Arriving early evening.

Monday 25th August (Day 33)
Spent day in Barbarte. Tomorrow heading for Gibraltar.

Tues 26th August (Day 34)
Sailed to Gibraltar.  Arrived in the evening.

Wed 27th – Fri 29th August (Days 35-37)
Stayed in Gibraltar.  James arrives to join the depleted crew.

Saturday 30th August (Day 39)
Sail to Estepona.

Sunday 31st August (Day 40)
A day and a night’s sail through to Aguadulce, near Almeria.

Monday 1st September (Day 41)
10am arrived at our final destination Aguadulce.

Tuesday 2nd September (Day 42)
Farewells to surviving crew James and Brian.  Time for Little Moo to relax and potter in the Med!
